With Hondata's release, I'm sure Bisimoto will show some great results and gains. Please get a tester in, you'll get customers as you are the only ones on the market for the TL.

It appears that you have been talking to yourself on this thread for quite some time Mr Roadxrage...
Perhaps you should start your own that way you can get any questions you have answered?
And Andy, did I just read the words "smaller shot" in your thread labeled "Bisimoto cams"? I dont think so young man...Ive never seen an actual forum riot, but Im pretty sure if you dont come out on your first run slanging large amounts of oxidizing gases, you WILL see one my friend. Play it smart bub.
Oh and one more thang....HOLLA!!!
***Mr Roadxrage DID start his own thread about cams. My apologies...***

Well I'm reporting back after installing my stage 2 cams. Shes been running great!Mods as of now are in my signature. Idle gets sketchy sometime but It seems to have adjusted well over time.I did a full timing belt job along with spark plugs when I put the cams in. I love it, I get so many compliments everyday about how "beast" my car sounds lol. Tons Tons more power, I'm running on stock injectors, stock ecu, stock fpr right now with absolutely no issues, just took a 12 hour trip to buy a supercharged m3 and she ran great the whole time. If I can answer any questions for anyone please feel free, I'm at work and leaving got caught up before I could write a great informative post but I will try to chime in later. Oh and if anyone wants to buy my stock cams I will sell them for 200 to get ya going! I have stock intake manifolds ready to be pnpd as well. LETS GO!

^ Awesome! I've been waiting for this for so long lol. Someone to come forward and talk about their cams! So good to hear the butt dyno approves. We need sound clips ASAP! Any plans for a dyno?
Are you on the stock valvetrain as well? You said idle is good? Was it ever poor? If so, how long to get a normal idle? I could ask you questions for days lol.

Idle is lopey as expected but it sounds so f'n sweet. At first it would sound as if it were going to stall out and sounded carb'd but the last week or so it has been near perfect.
The computer detects misfires at idle only setting off my check engine light, it has gone off on its own twice now but then returns to remind me I'm the man
I'm currently at about 73k miles, like I stated before I did the timing belt, pump etc etc while I did the cams so this didn't hurt, full service. I don't forsee any issues in the future and I don't see why more people don't have cams in their J series motors. Everyday I get compliments about how amazing my car sounds and I can tell you it makes serious torque. I have a video of when I first started it up but it kinda sucks. Check my youtube....

Feel free to ask questions, I'll answer anything I can, I don't have numbers data sheets or dyno numbers yet but I will answer what I can.

Glad you got more torque.
I installed mine and consistently ran slower in the 1/8 over 08tls cams.
And times were affected mostly in the 60ft.
Once the rpms got above 4k though it would pull strong to redline.
I would love to see the dyno sheets to see where this torque is.

Thanks for the answers. I hope we do see more J series cars with cams in the near future. I actually just spoke with Paul today. He said cam potential is even a bit 'lacking' on the stock heads; meaning that with ported heads the gains will really be there. I wouldn't be surprised if you picked up 10-12whp up top though. You are still on the stock TB?

Intact, are you going to get that thing up to Esta and see what it runs? I saw your Youtube channel and saw that golfing in Camillus video, so I'm assuming you're in the area. I guess they just re-did the track, which was long overdue. That first 60' was a mess for years.

Ehh, ditched FB awhile back. I'm near Utica; didn't know where NYIRP was till I just googled it. It's a hike but I am out in Rochester a few times a year to visit family. I would love to see how your car runs. My best corrected time before I did the 3.7 manifold/ZDX TB and on stock wheels/tires was 14.1x @ 101, on a 2.2x 60', so hoping to hit upper 13's @ 102 next time out. I have to get off my ass and do a 4" intake ASAP as well. Regardless, this spring has been shit for anything. I'm thinking of ditching the car for a canoe.
Keep me posted though!
I'm actually a bit closer to Lebanon Valley. We were going to try to get a few of us together there a couple years ago, but it fell through. Maybe Sonnick would even make the drive up! Can't be more than a couple hours from LI.

With stock Throttle body, at WOT from 2000-6750 RPM I run between 13.6-13.2 AFR and the advance is around 38*. I have the AEM wideband installed at the J pipe junction and the advance is data logged via my Snap-on modis. I haven't notice any Knock runnig with the OEM ECU.
The only downside wich could be related to a weak thermostat is when I'm lapping, the engine temps tend raise.
I should get it dynoed in 1 month, but still wondering if it will be with oem ecu or my MS3(street tuned)

I got the stage II cams with springs/retainers installed for the last 10 000Km and like Andy I often got the check light for missed fires but nothing to worry about.

So with a 3.5L motor, 3.7L IM and TB with stage 2 cams and valvetrain with a solid tune. These things should rip. Add a port and polish to the heads.
Think I just found my winter project.

My water temps raised close to 110 and it was only 20C outside, so I stop the lapping session....... if I'm right normal temps should be maxed at 98.

I was around 12.8-13.1 on the dyno with FBO / 3.7 IM/TB. I tried getting an FIC tune and LOST power. On back to back runs the stock ECU made more power consistently; throughout the entire powerband.
The FIC was wired by Paul so I know it was correct. Seems like the ECU pulled timing with the FIC connected. Just throwing this out there.
