CTE S/C ACM Jumper Question *Help*
I just installed my CTE S/C today and the last thing I had to do was install the ACM. I went to install the jumper and found that it will not plug into my ECU and the car side plug wont fit into the jumper also. I called HISpeed to see what he thinks the issue could be as we both have 2006 TL's and the only thing I can think of is he has a manual and I have an auto. Anyone on here know if the connectors would be different or if you need a different jumper for an auto? I tried calling Comptech but I think they are closed today. Ill post some pictures of what I mean as soon as I get a chance.
Thanks guys, this blows i want to drive this thing!

Here is a picture of the connectors. The gray is the OEM and the white is the jumper. See how the "slots" on the bottom are switched... i think they may do this so you dont swap and auto ECU for a manual.

I was doing some digging on line and it looks like when you order and extension harness you have to choose from 04-05 M/T or A/T and 06-08 are both the same. I am thinking the jumper I have is for a M/T 04-05. Sorry to be annoying but its killing me to be sooo close!

04-07 Acura TL Supercharger Kit
Kit fits both Automatic and 6-Speed 04-07 Acura TL.
Kit will come with CT Engineering's new ACM (Advanced Control Module) to add fuel in boost, lower VTEC (RPM to 4000 from 4800), and clamp MAP sensor voltage (@3.0 volts). ACM will come with jumper harness for the majority of its connections, but you will have to cut and solder 4 wires.
^^ doesnt say anything about there being a diff acm.. wish i could help more. your right there..GL

Thanks man, I could easily mod the connectors to fit but i am worried the pin out is different and i would ruin something. I know it says it works for 04-08 M/T and A/T but why would it just not fit my car then? I wish CTE was open on saturdays! I may just buy an AEM harness and hard wire the ACM to that. Ill still need a pinout for an 06 A/T and the CTE ACM.

I think after a weekend of research i may have figured this out. I got the ECM pinouts from a friend for the 04-05 and the 06. There is no difference in 06 between the MT and AT. BUT in 04 and 05 the jumper goes into the E plug in 06 Acura changed it and now the E plug is the A plug. My jumper fits perfectly into that E slot but not the A slot. This confused me as Comptech says it work for all 04-08 3.2 TL's and I have aleady found that not to be true. I have gone over the pinout for both and compaired and all the pins that the jumper pulls into the ACM are the same from the 04-05 and the 06 and they are all in the correct places so I could just modify the jumper to fit the slot I need it to but i think i will call Comptech tomorrow just to see what the hell is going on.
I think I managed to stump Acurazine on this one! If i have the time and drive ill post both the pinouts so people can see what i mean.

i did the pin outs and saw the difference was in pins 5 and 14 but there are no wires coming from the ACM to this pins. They are just jumped in the harness. I cut the excessive slot in the female plug with a blade with no problem. 3 minutes of work and plugged it in. Drove around today for the first time and it was good with the exception of my other problem which are the RDX injectors but thats for another thread.
