Coolant overflow tank removal for SC!?

Hello....was going thru the Comptech SC installation procedure, and noticed that it indicated that the coolant overflow tank to be removed. What affect does that have on the car??? I've never seen a car without a coolant overflow tank! How to you know if you're low on coolant??

You remove the larger stock overflow tank and replace it with a smaller tank provided by Comtech.

Thanks! I am such a noob.... I just went thru the installation procedure again, and saw the tiny tank by the 'new' battery tray. By looking at the picture, that tank sure looks small. Any ideas on it's capacity? Also, once the charger is in, good luck trying to see/refill it.

heres some good advise... buy a battery relocation kit and stick it in the trunk. you will save yourself alot of heartache incase your battery dies and need to change it out in the future, cause its right underneath the blower. PLUS, it gives you alot more room to work with under the hood,, you get to run a full size battery and puts more weight in the rear of an already front heavy fwd car
