I was told after the supercharger by Joe at Comptech. This was two weeks ago so things could have changed. You know how Comptech is.

 

Not for a while.

 

Comptech stuff is very nice stuff...dont get me wrong....really like their stuff - but dont go waiting on them - your car might be old and traded off before you ever get something done! Comptech = great quality but slow to react to market

 

I've e-mailed those guys at least 5 times, no response to every single one of em.. jerks!

 

Is it really that much better for the CAI than the competition? In Houston it floods sometimes so having this would not work for me since it sits lower by looking at the pic.

 

Ya...I called them and left a message and never got a callback either...even left them an 800 number to call? Was asking about the brake kit they sell and what "special wheel fitment" meant....and was it just the 18" rim upgrade or was there something more and they never got back. Figured they really didnt care if they sold a kit or not>? I have to admit...it did leave me confused?

after the release of the supercharger? then they will come out w/ the CAI ?

 

i believe what the story is....they supercharger is to be "released" soon, and it has an ice box included with that, so what comptech is going to do, is when they release the supercharger, they will format an ice box for seperate use, because i think the ones they supply for superchargers are a bit smaller than the normal ones

knowing comptech...thats another few years..lol....when they release the supercharger...im sure theyll release the ice box shortly after

 

When I talked to them a couple months ago they said SC by year end, IceBox by the first of the year. Go figure.
