Wink Cold Air Intake on my daily driver?

Hey I own a 2004 Acura TL A-Spec 6MT, and wanted to get a cold air intake (

) since I already have some mods (eg.wheels/lowering springs/exhaust/short shifter) and but was wondering about the rain issue. I live in SoCal so we don't get a lot of rain but in the event that it does and if I were to install a cold air intake on my car which is my daily driver, is there a solution to have no issues with it? Thanks in advance.

Are you aware your car came from the factory with a cold air intake?

I wanted to install an aftermarket one, but no I'm not aware it has a stock cold air intake. So are you saying it should be fine considering you're saying I already have one and it's running the way it is?

Yup, not only will you be fine, you'll be better than fine. Why? Aftermarket intakes filter like crap compared to the factory units.

Sorry you lost me, so I should be more than fine but you countered it with aftermarket CAI’s filter like crap so are you suggesting I shouldnt get one?

What I was saying is you should be more than fine staying with the factory intake; and yes, I'm suggesting you shouldn't get an aftermarket intake; it will do exactly nothing positive for your engine.

If you're looking for sound just pull off the intake resonator. Some people swear by an intake on a J Series, other's don't. To each their own!
