You're looking at some BS site with a few definitions and a bunch of ad links.

No... kaliman is not an idiot.

Acurazine, much like China's government, censors the linking of cerain websites.

V 6 p .com is one
cor sport usa.com is another

when you take the spaces out of those links, the website automatically deletes a portion of the text, which redirects which leaves the residual of the link. You can't even PM these links, as the forum does the same thing.

Here, I'll demonstate. linked below is www.c o r s p o r t u s a.com... I just typed it in, as you see, with no spaces:

www.usa.com

What's it say?

kaliman, spell the website you're trying to show us in a different way...

This has to do with the moderators, web site sponsorship, and the perception of "competition". Who knows what this website kaliman is thrying to show us, but the forum is automatically deleting these links.

Acurazine is not a free place to discuss whatever you like, but what big brother thinks is OK for us to talk about. Sorry for the rant, but I am passionately against this practice on forums, forums are supposed to be a place to openly express ideas and communicate about things... but this is not ordinary forum, it's "business" of advertisers here, and businesses have the right to steer and influence people as they say fit in THIER forum.

This is the one thing about this place that drives me nuts. I've never seen an "enthusiasts" forum that was so financially oriented.

lol...it was a joke. lighten up
but they have been discussed before on the TL forums and the TSX forums
do a search. would be nice but haven't heard much from them lately.
With a different profession I would have been and bought an Ultimate, hooked it up to my ECU and see what can be done buuuuuuuuuuttt...that isn't my current lifestyle. :bigLOL:
one day though after everyone has traded theirs in for another car i will have my force induction :hardyharrharr:

1) We were supposed to know there were missing letters/words from the hyperlink how??? Personally, I just figured you edited your original post and put the link in. Maybe if you had explained further what you had intended to have happen versus what actually did people would've known what the deal was.

2) As Meek said, Red Shift has been discussed before, as has RIPP.

3) For corporate sensorship, just look a NASCAR...they are currently being sued by AT&T because they won't let AT&T put their logo on a car they sponsor because Nextel sponsors the races...can't have an AT&T logo at a Nextel sponsored event...

I deleted a bunch of posts here. I would have deleted the thread but I didn't feel like sending individual PM's to everyone that posted here, so I will explain here and close the thread. This is not a criticism of kaliman, who is new here and doesn't know all of the little rules.

The admins do not allow links to competing websites. If you can't figure out why, I'm sorry for you. If we wanted to allow the link, we would not censor it, so it doesn't take a genius to know that circumventing this edit by putting spaces or other methods would not be condoned and would most certainly draw the attention of the moderators.

Kennedy: It's one thing to voice your opinion, but it's not a good thing to voice it in a vituperative manner and comment on our administrators methods of running this forum the way that you did, and then post the sites that we don't want posted, so I'll let you think about that for a week and we'll see you when you get back from vacation. We have a great many people who like this forum the way it is, and if you are so unhappy here and it drives you nuts, as you said, the door you came in is always unlocked and you can leave the same way.
