you got specs on the 07 cam? What's the difference between the 04+ and 07 TypeS cam?

"Both the TL and TL Type-S feature single overhead camshaft cylinder heads made from pressure-cast, low-porosity aluminum, which helps to keep overall engine weight down.

The Type-S heads also feature hollow camshafts to save weight."

mentions nothing about increased lift spec in the cams. so the only benefit to swapping (which i think is possible) is the weight saving.

Hmm....i wonder if it's worth changing to the 07 TypeS cam when I am doing the 3.5L swap.

I just compared a few diagrams on the 06 TL and the 07 TypeS TL. It seems like the cam, cylinder head, valve and rocker arm looks exactly identical.

acura made no mention of a different head design. i dont think it will be a problem. order the cams from oemacuraparts.com and if they dont fit they will refund you, they allowed me to return the RL cams months after my purchase. but order the cams now, i'm sure its a special order item and will take over a month to get.

p.s. ask for lance at the above site, he's a good guy.

Your only choice would probably be to get custom cam made.
