Brake Pad compatibility question

Hey guys ive got a few questions about Project Mu pads on my brembos. But after searching for a while only some have been answered.

1. i believe the 08 type s braking system the same as a WRX Sti. Is this correct?

2. if in fact they are the same braking system then in theory any brake pads that fit a WRX Sti would fit our brembo pads. so would Project Mu pads designed for the Sti brembos fit my Type S?

3. if 1 and 2 are correct... do any vendors here on azine sell Project Mu pads?

the reason i ask is because this weekend i was at a meet and Eric (accuratein) and I were talking about how bad my front brembos dust. He told me that his project Mu pads have very minimal dust. He has the full caliper and pads set up so he doesnt have to worry about pad compatibility. i cant justify spending that kind of money on the full setup bc my car just doesnt have the power to need that type of braking power. that being said the pads alone arent really expensive and would love to have them for the added braking performance and bc they dont dust as much as the OEM pads do.

Yes but no. it would have to be pads for the older STI's. 04-05 would be your best bet.

Can't exactly guarantee it but yes most pads for the brembos are interchangeable between the Evo, Sti, TL, even the CTS-V. Just make sure its not the new larger setup but the older ones. Again 04-05 would be your ideal years for STI/Evo pads in our cars.

I'm pretty sure thats a no. could be wrong though.
