I don't. I read about it somewhere on here when I was researching clutch options. I noticed it's not listed on their site too. I want to say it was about 700 bucks, but I could be way off.

Most likely since it too is lighter than the OEM pulley. Size don't matter in this case.

I always thought the issue was size since our engines are already internally balanced...

Josh/Sean what do you guys say?

I had both of them on my last set-up and they go pretty well, only thing is that you can feel a little bit of vibration on the gas pedal on WOT specially on the top end, but I don't mind that cos I love how the needle goes up so fast pass 3500rpm tho

J32 engine has a decent amount of torque on low throttle that your eclipse might not have before, i mean it's two different cars... now, it might be also different if your CL aren't FI and tuned, but like I said it flows pretty well on my part before...

150 MILES

Rule of thumb 500 miles but its your clutch. I would have waited a tad longer to start banging it around.

Yup, rule of thumb is 500 miles. I believe CM recommends 300 miles?

Yeah somewhere in that realm. I remember when I got my Exedy stage 3 for my GSR I drove for noooo reason whatsoever I volunteering to take everyone everywhere just to get past 500 miles

I wouldn't recommend doing the light flywheel and the lightweight pulley since they both are doing the same job in essence. It doesn't matter whether it's underdrive or stock diameter; either way the aluminum pulley is light weight.

Yes I would recommend a break in of 500-750 miles. That means no hard launches, no quick revs, no chirping gears; it should be a lot of city driving so you can engage and disengage the clutch at different speeds.

My question really is

Is it harmful in any way? I don't see what could be wrong with having a stock sized lightweight pulley and a lightened flywheel. Plenty of cars have had such a set up.. (pulley kit + clutch/flywheel)

Is it just about low end torque? I know throttle response would be insane!

stock crank pulley has a harmonic damper... if u could have the light weight flywheel. its better to leave the stock crank pulley alone...harmonic damper is there to aid the cranks balancing... the gains from flywheel tripple...u got off rotating mass, a better friction plate, the dual feature, fast revs, slow decel... u wouldn't notice any of those, if i took off ur stock pulley and replaced with the lighweight, if u didnt know i did.... so dont get greedy and leave some assistance for ur poor crank.... this isn;t a race motor...it aint balanced like u'd think.

as far as Spec clutch kits...i had that happen to me...when i got it, it looked like a painted stock PP, which it was...i called up and spoke to them....they said bcs of the self adjusting...they just supposedly re-enforced the PP to add clamping force....i didnt notice a stiffer pedal...however, my dash chatters when i pop the clutch...i mean just popping it breaks the tires without any accel whatsoever...... sometimes its hard to feel it through the pedal, on a hydralic clutch, when the stiffness of PP isn't by a lot over stock.
but the ceramic unsprung disk makes a tremendous difference.... i have no slippage.... i mean i could make any clutch slip...but abusing it properly...it holds well enough so far

I bought a stage two clutch a couple months ago, now I need a light flywheel. Does anyone just sell a light flywheel and not a kit or just a clutch. Thanks

Been running the CM StageIII for about 5 months now. I have 0 complaints so far. I haven't been running it hard, so I can't elaborate much on that, but so far its the perfect clutch. Harsh enough, yet not too harsh for our weak tranny. With the deletion of the SCV, you get a great shifting experience.

As far as running it hard, Sean has tested that aspect and he speaks good things about it.
Many thanks to Sean (04Accordcpe) for his suggestions...
and also XLR8 for the decent price and fairly quick shipping (wasn't under time pressure)

And btw Josh....I haven't received an e-mail with the invoice lol

I would've been running the CM Stage 2 kit/lw flywheel...but the car wouldn't go into gear once turned on, so now I'm selling it
