Maybe it's the video---but it seems to sound slightly different from the quads

Which ATLP exhaust do you find louder, base or quads?

 

Quads for sure.

 

quads are louder and deeper tone I believe but sounds might change with J pipe and mid delete- I like it the way it is.

 

am not an exhaust junkie and hence have a lame question.....

quads with jpipe and race pipe.....will it sound louder? have more drone ? better tone?

jpipe + stock 3rd cat + atlp is almost identical to bellow
jpipe + 3rd cat delete + atlp is louder outside but less drone inside

 

Looking good. Maybe I don't need the canister blacked out afterall.

The level of drone is pretty low, as compared to my other exhaust. Ib18c1 and I do both have a j-pipe and racepipe, but the sound shouldn't be too different for those who don't have a jpipe or racepipe.

So pretty much, this is exhaust is a godsend for those who wanted a refined "sleeperish" type of exhaust note that is quiet when you want it to be quiet, and roars when you are stepping on the pedal. And for you guys that are so crazy about replicating beastly "g35/350z" tones, this is pretty much takes the cake imo. (but I'm sure there's quite a difference in many aspects)

Yeah ..measurements.. I dont like the 2 inner circles that show through.. I'm hoping thas a simple fix with a can of spray paint before putting the tips on.. or do the tips come welded on?

 

Yeah I would like to paint the inside the tip area black. Other than that I love it.

 

 

 

idk, it's weird... At first I wasn't a fan of the quads showing, but as I keeping looking at it, it gives it a more refined AGGRESSIVE look to it. I'm definetely a fan of it now after seeing it in person, and I'm sure many of you would feel the same.

Yeh - if my funds allow( which they haven't much with business investments) I would purchase and let the quads show. I like it.

 

Mike do you have an old exhaust trade in program ?? lol I have a comptech which I want to trade in for the ATLP

Those freakin tips man...they make my XLR8 tips look like little donuts. When this exhaust becomes available, I'm going to be really torn.
