Anyone with J pipe and pro-cats?

Looking for any info regarding the use of the upgraded j pipe with the high flow pro-cats. I do remember an old post talking discussing the potential loss of power with this set-up. Any new developments? Thanks

that was a myth, we now have used procats in the blackmarket, rv6 j pipe, pre cat deletes, test pipe;resonated test pipe and atlp jpipe; race pipe. The pre cat deletes replace factory pre cats with 2.25 polished stainless steel straight pipes, re using the factory o2 sensors with their defoulors that trick the computer into thinking you have your cats in place, therefore throwing no CEL. Our third cats have no sensors so therefore you can just replace it with any of the two brands, getting some pretty impressive power for a few hundred dollars. If you are in NYC you dont have to worry about not passing inspection, since we just get sscanned.

When I first got my tl-s the first exhaust work I did was the e-shift cats, followed by atlp jpipe and greddy evo2 catback

Never once did I get a loss of power...

Maybe those who reported a loss of power was from their cats detiriorating rofl

Wink This is a win & win

I too have the system. It's only good! Love the way the J-pipe opened up the rest of the exhaust system. Even sounds better!!! https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=699703&page=2

I've had the pro-cats and EVO2 since Sept 2007 without any problems. It seems like everyone has been pleased with the ATLP and rV6 j pipe upgrades. I guess I'll make the plunge.....
