Does anyone know what brand is the best for Headers on my 07 TL. How much do they normally cost????

 

3G Tl's have the cat and the headers built into one unit, so you should be looking for high-flow cats. The only one out on the market at the moment is E-shift. They are meant for the 04-06, and I don't think anyone has tried to fit them on the 07's, yet.

 

i have 2 grand to spend on performance parts. dont know where to start. thinking intake first then comptech exhaust then?????

 

if u just want to spend on performance then yea, get the intake and see if u can fit the pro-cats. u should already be at around 1500 right there. then get the UR underdrive pulley and thermoblock spacers. not many more performance mods to be had unless u go FI.

the comptech exhaust is a lot of money for not much power.

 

keep saving until you get 4 grand and then get a supercharger

If the heads are the same on the 07 as they are on the 04 (which I am certain they are), headers cannot be installed on our engines. This is because there are no exhaust manifolds bolted to our heads.

 

Your only option for is the high flow cats. The Pro Cats made about 20whp and 15 ft lbs of tq on average in the 04-06 TL. I have sold a set to a guy with an 07 (TL-S I believe) so they should fit, but I haven't confirmed it yet.
