Bought a J32A from Japan off a Honda Inspire with 43,000 miles to harvest the heads. These heads are so nice!
Removing Valves to swapping to new J32A heads.
Ready to swap!

Something Matt would do.
New Timing belt / Water pump kit!
Taking the TL-B5 Comptech for a spin.
English Racing spec Wiseco pistons are in!

Currently cleaning all the engine parts. Waiting on the release of Honda Racing Development’s 4th gear and RV6 3rd gear as well as P2R tranny cuff. I money shifted second gear. Fortunately I bought a used set of 6 speed internals to harvest from.

So, the M90 replaces the M62 CT kit on the silver TL? Are you going for the 'Mad Max' vibe when rolling around town? I know you'll make it work and interested in the final product / outcome.
Good, Thanks! Got to replace the timing belt and helicoil the front head camshaft thrust cover bolt holes that hold the blower mount bracket. They finally stripped out, over the years, from all the removals and reinstalls. Will be my first helicoil 'operation', hehe, so I'm trying to get 'motivated'.
Thanks for all the pictures above!
BTW, Did gerzybear recommend the swap to the J32A2 heads as part of your 3G TL engine build? Explain, a little, the logic involved, when time permits, of course.

I read about the timing belt change! Glad it went well, I’m gonna use Majskis TB guide for my install as well(as it will be my first time). Thanks @Majofo !
Looking forward to your helicoil work!

Yes, M90(Eaton) will replace the MP62(Magnuson). There will need to be a new custom mid and driver side S/C Mount bracket. I will also need to modify the snout(bought Comptechs last snout) and S/C underbelly to the S/C. Injectors are currently 650cc and should be good for 5psi of boost.
The head swap was not suggested to me. I copied him. I want my engine to breathe with less resistance.
The J32A2 heads exhale with less of a bottleneck as opposed to the J32A3 heads.
My biggest need for them was for Intake/Exhaust pipe separation. I am designing the anterior header to upon leaving the head, swing towards the drivers side before flowing down into the J-pipe. This will give the intake pipe coming out of the S/C a distance of a few inches away from the header.

So the snout above is CT's last snout? I wasn't aware that the made one for the M90? I'm sure you are aware that heeltoe has the prank parts M90 adapter. Is that what you are considering to use or modify?
https://www.heeltoeauto.com/supercha...pra2220wo.html
Nice! So you will be creating a custom header or sorts for the front head. Sounds interesting. Will the English Racing peeps be involved in your design and fabrication process?

Last Comptech snout
Both the rear and front headers will be custom. Perhaps the J-pipe aswell.
I would like to have English Racing do some of my work, but I can’t afford it!

That's why I asked the question!
I was like, I can just picture Saving4aTL or his significant other, driving up to the 'sisters' Hospital enclosed parking garage with this huge 'lump' peeking through the hood, making all kinds of noises, hehe.
Now that is a first. Talking about breathing life into your 3G J32A3, I can't wait to see that M90 / this CT input shaft on the silver TL.
Good Luck!

Also, here's a guy on the 2G TL side that used a modified M90:
I asked him, in post #29, how he made the modifications and the above was his response.
https://acurazine.com/forums/second-...d-help-967618/
Actually the M90 bolts directly onto the CT shaft with no modifications. So the 2 modifications needed are to the intake and output of the supercharger. The intake just needs a simple adapter plate. The output required the collector to be re-welded to accommodate the bigger blower. I bought this kit from someone else, but I remember the original creator of this posted all about it here. Unfortunately, all of his pics are down.

Job is ok... Same place but working with a new crew... I miss my old crew.
I move over to New Orleans next week. Been setting up my apartment yesterday and today.
Thanks... As far as my health there are really no answers... My symptoms have subsided quite a bit but some of them are still there...

Gear cuff to keep the two parts of the 6MT together under high HP.
Bought a used PS3 to test cars I can’t afford on Gran Turismo 6. It also came with NFS:Prostreet to practice my native P.I.R track.
Will someday implement these for weight savings, electronic gauge cluster. And it looks futuristic($495) for the kit.
Who knew that someday, shopping with an N95 would be considered 10%er?
Going to run the Comptech and M90 insimultaneously on the Silver TL. In 1 hour I can change the behavior of the car. These are going to be the only TL S/Cs running on Alcohol. As well as Ported and Polished.
Port and Polish materials(purchased more post-pic for good measure).

Got the 04-06’ grill for the Gerzy bear bumper!
Did the Pressure sensor maintenance on the Roots TL! Runs like a charm!
Bought a used Honda! I’ve been wanting a pressure washer for years. Very happy with it.
I tried to use one for both cars, and Hondata forced me to buy another. May go stand alone with AEM Infinity when I buy my third TL 6MT.

I can hardly wait to install it. The Rotrex TL has a lot of work until it’s ready for the bumper. Though I will have to wey same two small raised parts and buy a pint of NBP paint. The painter has already been paid.

Its a custom made years ago and the production was low like 5 or less ever been released for people who running CT kit and J&R Turbo kit, I guess over time the demand is higher now that Andy made it available to order.
Nice progress so far man, keep us updated.

Current state of the Roots TL. Used to call it the Comptech TL, but it will soon be running multiple roots type superchargers, so I decided on a new nickname.
Pulled out all the parts to PnP.

Ordering the pranks kit for the top mount M90 S/C.
Before and after porting. This is a first for the TL. Soon to be a ported Comptech running on E85.
Spent 11 hours on this. Next is runners > T/B > Intake manifold > intake ports of heads.
Cleaning out 172k miles of grime from the I/M.
Ready for PnP!

I’m trying to get 9-11psi I’d boost out of my M90 S/C on a J32A3.
The stock pulley is a 3.8”. I’m getting mixed answers about psi vs pulley size. Though that could be dependent on their elevation.
I am at 0 elevation.

Finished product. I smoothed out the edges for more efficient airflow.
Put extra S/C lube on the still functioning needle bearings.
Loctite 548!
Very good quality inside the Comptech MP62!
#1275
IIRC'ly, I believe those S/C'er case bolts only get 15lb-ft of torque. Also, let the Loctite 548 dry for at least 24hrs, for good measure when you button up the S/C'er oil reservoir, before depositing 180ml of S/C'er lubricant when fully emptied or 6.09 US fluid ounces.

90 degree coupling Ported and Polished.
Opened the Throttle body as much as I could.

Back in and ready for service!
Billet aluminum oil adaptor came in. This will go with my engine oil cooler system for the Type-S. The sandwich oil filter adaptor that the kit came with is chinsy.

At one point, I wanted to have 330whp with the Comptech.
TLTypeEth said it was not possible on an Acura TL-B5.
Here is my before and after Comptech tune. Both tunes were with a Catless, but otherwise stock Type-S exhaust.
Before: Comptech + E85 made 304whp
After: Comptech + E85 + Complete port and polish(Minus head PnP) Goal achieved!

Now that the Comptech I’d fully functional and complete. The M90 top mount S/C is next up.
I will have two separate systems for the Acura TL-B5. Depending on whether I’d like to drive Stealth OEM or Mad max.
Purchased this for $250.
