Always remember the difference on those who drive more luxury honda is cause we have the ability to spend more $ in our cars due to limited aftermarket availability however true tuners shut up and Ink up. so if the gloves fit wear it otherwise keep negatives comments to your own little minds.

Id definitely be down for an ECU option like this. You would think it would be in their best interest to design something like this, mainly due to the fact that the J series whether it be for a Honda or Acura are becoming cheaper on the market every day from the 6th gen accord up to the new Hondas/Acuras, a price around the $1k mark and with good customer service behind it would kill the market.

 

Say it's $1,000 each, that's $54,000 right there lol. Even if 60% come through, that's over $30K.

A full standalone for the J series would be game over. The market would explode. Cams, final drives, pistons, rods, etc, etc would all become shelf-ready I'm sure.

 

I'm still waiting for homeboy to come through....

I've ask to Marcus from Heeltoe if this was in fact compatible with our cars, he said yes but wasn't sur if it would keep the luxury info in the dash.

I'll go get more info at a local shop who has installed a J35 in his Civic with that particular ECU

Wolks War: That is mis-labeled. Wow, I got really excited for a second lol. That's for the J swaps, or cable J series, not for our DBW cars. Apparently there are a few important people who are trying to get this to work on our cars, but I haven't heard anything recently.

This would control everything for our purposes, including but not limited to:

- 2 step launch control
- VTEC adjustment
- Timing advance/retard
- Rev limit adjustment

Sucks at this point it's only for the cable cars. Not sure if anyone tried it on our cars though. Apparently there are some bugs though...
