2007 TL TYPE S Brake info

I'm looking to replace my OEM Brembo brake pads and I found to Brembo brake pad sets for sale. I'm confused what's the difference. I found a pair of Brembo Premium brakes on Tirerack listed for $69. Awfully cheap compared to a set a found on Ebay titled OEM Acura Brembo brakes, they listed a set of front/rear brembos for 215. (165 for front, 55 for rear). What's the difference? I'm leaning towards OEM..

I personally recommend hawk z code I just swapped all 4 for hawks (and yes I have brembo) and I love them the dusting is minimal. Breaking distance seems to have shortened they also bite allot better than oem I got mine from EndLess RPM

Hawk pads love to chew up rotors! Go get the CMAX Gold Pads! They have a lifetime warranty so they'll be replaced for free when they are worn down.

Don't go ebay. Stick with a name brand like Stoptech. We offer front and rear pad/rotor combinations at great prices. Our brembo Premium Blank package is available for $315. This includes pads for the front, pads for the rear, and rotors for all four corners. The pads are high quality Street Performance pads that are made from a para-aramid compound. In my experience, you get what you pay for. Brakes are no different, and I highly recommend going with a quality product for your own safety.

So are Aftermarket Brakes better than OEM? or are you just trading slightly less stopping power for dust?

OEM brakes are stupid expensive. Just go to Autozone and call it a day.
