'07 TL Upgrades
Hey everyone!
I recently acquired a 2007 Acura TL. I have experience working on vehicles but it is very limited; it's limited to Chevy trucks. I know next to nothing about foreign cars or where to start with upgrades. So here is the vehicle description; 07 TL 3.2l v6 vtech with zero performance, interior, or exterior upgrades. Im mostly interested in performance upgrades. I would like some feedback on some things you have done or seen that I may be able to do to my TL to kick things off and make this a car worth boasting about.

The third cat is very restricting for exhaust flow, so getting rid of it will give you a bit more power. The 3rd cat is also not monitored, so you will not get a check engine light by removing it. We sell our V2 J-Pipe that deletes the third catalytic converter and will add a nice growl to your exhaust tone. You'll also most likely still pass emissions since you retain your third cat.

Guys, he said he wants to somewhere to start and that he is NEWB. And you come at him with FI? That's going to take him forever to truly figure out from here and it sounds like he just wants a little project with a little fun.
OP the bolt on mods are where most people start and you will learn a lot about cars from them. You should make sure your maintenance is entirely up to date first, but the main mods for most import cars are:
Header or high flow pre cats (HFPCs) in this car
Cat back exhaust
Catylitic converter swap or straight pipe
Intakes
Underdrive pullies
Throttle bodies
Sway bars
Anyone of those is a fine place to start. Dont. Expect much gains maybe a few hp from the better mods, but you can still have fun learning.
Oh and the big one that I would recommend is the j-pipe. Many threads about that.
