...I did a search and im really not sure. Is it really necessary to disconnect the battery? I just finished programming everything in the nav and really don' t wanna have to do it all over again.
i disconnect them both and pulled out the battery for more working space. I also disconnected a few sensors why installing... why risk it? Plus I didn't lose my radio settings so I dont see why it would be any different for navi.
BUmp from the dead!!! I just bought a used intake and need to verify certain connections so I can get the proper hoses ..
I finally got the intake body installed thru and it appears that I am missing a hose/clamps and maybe a bolt to plug the sensor on the other side. I apologize for the shitty pics as it was getting late.
) numerous times and I haven't removed the hoses mentioned at 4:15 (only the one hose i removed during stock intake removal shown below). do i need to mess with the coolant line?
I removed the stock intake hose from here
Looks like im missing a hoe!

Thanks^^ I bought a used intake without any of the hoses/plugs/clamps so it made it really confusing. I figured it out.. just needed to connect a hose from the intake to the OEM line. I didn't bother removing/rerouting the coolant line as I didn't want to deal with a mess on the garage floor.
It's been a week on my intake so far and as others said, you get used to sound pretty quick and it feels like its not even there. But, i have noticed better mpg (1-2mpg) and quicker revs and acceleration.
