so called my local muffler shop and asked them to cut out my mid muffler and weld str8 pipe and they said they won't do it that it will fail inspection??

Im in New brunswick Canada and we don't even have emissions testing here lol so I'm not sure what they are talking about. It was just over the phone so they may have thought i was just some punk looking to get a loud exhaust.

I would like to get dynomax resonator along with the MMD but not sure what will happen come inspection time?

any thoughts

 

there are no sensors on the 3rd cat and beyond, so no check engine lights by messing with exhaust.
even you said that canada doesnt do emission testing.

since, you called over the phone they have no clue who you are, and probably just watching their backs.

 

so basically just say eff it and just do it! i didn't say Canada doesn't do emission tests i said New Brunswick doesn't do it.. Ill pop down there and see whats up. The guy basically said it will fail due to tampering with original exhaust. which makes zero sense because then anyone with aftermarket exhaust would fail LOL
