AEM FIC install help

I'm attempting to install a aem fic on my 04 tl auto with a supercharger.

I need help finding the crank sensor, cam sensor, and vtec output.

I found the connector view diagrams but am unclear of which pins are for these three inputs.

Thanks

Here's a pin-out and it shows how the MS3X was setup for 04-05.

The FIC can probably be setup for different types of cam and crank sensors as well, so you probably have to configure it for the right one that is used by the TL.

lol it got all mixed up, lemme see if I can figure something out..

Does this help? I'm pretty sure it's for an 04/05.

Be sure to use a relay for the vtec circuit.

Here it is as a comma separated value file, can open it as txt (as it is) or change the .txt extension to .csv and import it with excel, open office or libre office and it'll populate a spreadsheet for you

Which type of relay would I need for vtec? / is it even worth lowering vtec?

In case it helps I have a comptech supercharger, ported intake manifold, pcd, j pipe, and exhaust.

You do want to lower the vtec point down to 4K to make the best use of the boost.

@KN_TL

How would I go about wiring in the vtec relay?

According to the aem fic I was only suppose to connect one vtec wire but there's 4.

I rather get some advice before screwing something up lol

Thanks

There is some reading you can do here. It's for the MS3 but can be easily applied to the FI/C. I used to have this all documented but it's on my other computer and I am out of town right now.

You need 2 relays, one for the ECU and one for the vtec relay. Can be obtained at your local Radio Shack.
