My buddy and I are next door in Greenwich and we're always cruising Stamford in his 2005 NBP TL with an Injen CAI and Comptech S/S.... his CAI does sound so sick on his car too, I love driving it.

Or we're in my 2007 white STi cruising Stamford and Greenwich a lot.... so keep an eye out... always down to meet and chill wit fellow car nuts.

This is exactly where I'm at and for the last posts about patronizing Greddy. I never posted my name on the petition. I was on the fence then. The SP2 wouldn't have been the answer either for the simple fact the muffler is huge. If any of you have seen the Nissan Maxima's with the SP2 all you see from the back are these huge mufflers hanging from the back. THe tips are fine but the rest of the muffler takes over the rear of the car. Again I really like the look of the Comptech but I'd prefer the power of the Greddy Evo2. I know its not a perfect world but if I'm paying almost $40,000 for a car while busting my butt in college I'm getting what I feel is right. My name could very well be on the list come 08/31/2007. I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision. Thanks again Greddy and everyone for giving us an opportunity to choose a solid product. I can't speak for everyone on here but the sizing really has me stumped.

You're not gonna get noticeable gains from either IMO....its mainly for looks/sound

10whp is minimal but much better than 5 whp (comptech)

I don't think the 4'+ tips are horrible but I'm not necessarily doing cartwheels over the sizing of them either.

Lastly its a Greddy..the name speaks for itself however there will be some things I'd have to deal with in getting it which may be possible. I'll have my decision before the 31st.

Just a some thoughts.

I saw the Greddy petition thread a while back this year and didn't think anything of it. In all honesty, I didn't think it was going to happen. I've been waiting patiently for the Comptech version to come around, but that never happened. Fast forward a few months later and what'd you know, the hard work of the OPs on the Greddy thread succeeded in getting a great company to make a great mod at a great price.

This was no small task and it's nothing short of remarkable.

Are you kidding me? What's the issue now guys? I just read thru the 30+ pages of that thread and don't see even half the guys here on this list?

No offense to anyone, but hear me out: If you're still tossing around "drone," "loudness," "riceness," and debating between tips and canister size, and worrying about affecting a "luxury" status, an aftermaket exhaust was never for you.

And there's nothing wrong with that. I'm trying to help a few of the members see this fact. What you see from the OP is what an exhaust is. Not only that, we're not talking about a no name brand, its a Greddy exhaust, under the proven Evo II design, with a proven performance benifit. Ever other point beyond these facts are moot.

For the other guys who really do want and exhaust mod, I really fail to see the issue in getting in on this group buy and supporting the hard work that went into making this happen.

You wanted it, its here, so now what?

I also agree! +3 Trust me, this wasn't an easy task guys. GReddy/TRUST is no company to contemplate over! Anything GReddy makes is solid. That's why I tried so hard to get GReddy to help us out.

Don't worry there is not limit on quantity available, only a limit on the time when you have to pay by (8/31/07, Friday, a week from today) to get the system at a killer price, $661.50 including tax and only $50 to ship anywhere in the continental US except local southern californians, they can will call per Chris at GReddy.

i also need to thank Greddy and everyone involved.... waited so long for this...

for you people that dislike the cat-back.... you might wanna revisit that... Deleted Resonator & Mid-Muffler... look at how many people actually went in and did the mod... from that.. i am pretty sure a lot of people are looking forward to this greddy cat-back...

I mean, greddy's performance parts are pretty solid...

me and my group of friends have been using greddy setup, such as e-manage, Ti-C, etc on the track car... its just perfect!

In other aspects, think about how long it took us to get to 30 people on the petition and then how fast this list has gotten to 30. I know that some people only check the forum about once a month. Boy are they going to be mad when they see they missed this.

Giving the group buy period only 2 weeks does make it hard on those people that are tight on the budget to raise the required money. If we would have known a month in advance that the deposit was 300 without knowing the price, that would have given those people that are tight on budget time to plan for it. However hindsight is 20/20. I just hope everyone that wants one is able to get one in time to take advantage of this amazing deal.

I do hope that we can support GReddy to the fullest extent possible and get atleast 50 people on the list. However there will be people who just can't pull 300 as fast as some of us can.

Not to be a dick, but are there that many people here who have $30,000 cars who can't afford to have $300 on their credit cards?

Even though you have to wait a couple of months, you only put 1/2 down i mean it is perfect for everyone who needs an exhaust.. You will never find a better deal.

I also bought an exhaust and 2 sets of 19's and rotora rotors.... Come on gys $300 cant be breaking the bank....

i agree...but for me, putting up the money wasn't the hard part, talking my wife into another mod was

it seems like a lot of ppl that paid the deposit never even signed up on the petition (including me!)...maybe they didn't want to wait and just got the stage 3?

could we send PM's to the ppl on the petition to let them know it is finally available?

PMing the members that the buy is available does sound like a good idea. Is that acceptable by the admins and/or moderators?

It's all relative man. The price of a car really isn't a good indicator of a difference. 100 bucks a month is the difference between a 25k car and a 30k car. One just sounds like money.

But lets say someone budgeted 500 bucks a month for a car note (ignore how much the car cost) then an additional 300 really throws things off.

My previous comment wasn't directed at people with a cash crunch. It was just a few thoughts for the guys tinkering on the edge to think about.

HA HA...

I will say there is a difference and ummmm a big one between $300 and $4500..
Only put on the card what you can pay off.. can't pay off $4500 in one month 2 or 3 months yes,,,

haha, I am in the same boat as you are being in college which really sucks and money is always tight especially when your hitting up the bars every week, haha. I'm also waiting till the last minute to put in my deposit but for sure can't pass up this deal no matter how broke I am.

I am curious if it is at all possible to send payment on Sept 1st. I get paid on the last day of the month and I don't use credit cards. Thanks.

Hey, I'm quite sure exactly because I'm not able to measure it since I don't have the system on my car still but I don't think it hangs any lower than 2 inches from stock. You're going to have to check out the photos that are posted in the beginning of this thread. Sorry I couldn't be much of a help on this question.
