Any experts on XM satellite broadcasting? This is not a reference to the different genre of channels, but rather when listening to 1 music station, I am trying to find how many channels are broadcast from the satellite. Like, "left, right, front, rear and center". When I had XM radio I thought I remember hearing a center channel, but as I look at the helms book, I only see a left and a right channel that is connected between the XM receiver and the Audio unit. Is that right? Only 2 channels? Are the front and rear and center synthesized from 2 channels? or are they individually broadcast.

 

Chad, Sirius/XM does not broadcast in 5.1-you might get a little decoding from the head unit, but it won't be great.
