So has anyone tried making their own wiring harnesses by purchasing male/female connector sets and accompanying wire? I figured that would be easier than cutting into the original wiring to extend it as some have done. If you have part numbers for the connectors could you post them? I will call my dealership service dept to find out part numbers and post if I find anything.

 

my local dealership (Augusta) does not sell separate wiring harnesses. The parts guy did not have any of the end connectors available either. Will check the service manual later today and see if a part number pops up.

I made an extension by removing the connector from one of the boards I had that I knew I wasn't going to use, but it's not for installation, just for interfacing the bus lines.
