Will this work in my 05 tl?

Well someone can correct me if I am wrong but the answer is yes and no.

It would work because they use the same disks and are in a nut shell the same part BUT it would not be 100% the same.

This is because I think they have slight part number different because the way they are programed.

For example when you load the DVD in the drive, it loads a config file off the disk dependent on if you have an Honda or Acura for example. What I dont know is if it does this for models, like TSX or TL... The other thing is remember the navi also ties into our other stuff, so it has diags and what not based on other parts of the car. I dont know if the TSX and TL share those same parts.

Simple answer would be look online at the part sites that sell OEM parts and see if P/N is different or the same. If different I would say DONT do it... If same than your fine...

no, even though they may share the same capabilities they will not work with the TL. each part is programmed and designed specificaly for a setup. I tried using some TSX parts for my navi conversion just to save some money and the parts worked somewhat but also had its failure and the diagnostic for the nav system could not recognize any tsx part so if a part fails you wouldnt even get a notification or be able to figure it out. your better off getting a part that was designed for your car. you will lose benefits by using a different cars parts.

when i had the tsx antenna plugged it, it seems like i was flying on the map from place to place instead of driving and it never picked up the right coordinates for my location.
