I have been able to call out and receive calls in, yet Acura Cient Services tells me the V710 is not HFL functional. Whatzzup with that?

 

No Signal Meter/no battery meter... no approved

 

Or perhaps the phone is too new for the list?

 

I have seen Acura updates that list for a few times, but I agree with Bhaidaya that V710 isn't the completely compatible phone with TL yet.

I am currently chatting with Johnson Controls, who is the manufacturer of Acura's HFL System. I have been trying to fix some of my HFL problems with JCI's Customer Service & Engineering Departments.

The Engineering Department at Johnson Controls helps to determine which phones are on Acura's "Approved" list. I was told that due to some of the current problems - like the lack of MID displays and the inability to answer a "Call Waiting" call - the V710 is not yet approved.

Not reliably.

The incoming "call waiting" call's phone number isn't always displayed properly, if it gets displayed at all.

Not to worry, though. This is purely a Bluetooth firmware issue, and should be resolved by Motorola, hopefully with the upcoming Bluetooth functionality update.

WHOA!!!!!! JCI makes the HFL for Acura???!!! I use to work for them! I should call my ol coworkers up and see if them could let me in on some info about the HFL system
