I couldn't find much info on this topic, but does anyone have experience with the voice command function? I rarely ever use it, but the other day I was trying it out and realized that my voice command function stopped working. No matter what I say, even in a completely silent car, the car always responds with "pardon?" Or "please repeat"
This function has always worked fine for me before and I don't really know where to start looking to find the problem. I did disconnect my HFL module awhile back, and I know the mic in located in that same area, not sure if not having the HFL module affects the voice processing function?
Any ideas?

 

I'm pretty sure the HFL module processes the voice as well

Yes, the HFL mic is part of the voice command system. You lose both Bluetooth phone connections and voice commands if the HFL is disconnected.

Try baking the HFL IC board if you don't want to buy a new HFL.

 

Ohhh thanks for the responses. I feel a lot better knowing that it was just part of the HFL module and that theres nothing else wrong with the car. I dont mind it as I really rarely use the voice command function.
