Verizon Voyager/Venus

Any word on whether or not these phones will be compatiable with the TL? Any comments on the phones themselves?

For now, I can only speak to the Voyager (LG 10k). This phone is BT capable, and should work with the TL for HFL. However, it does NOT have PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile), like the Chocolate (8550). With this profile, you will not be able to load your phone book to the car. When I go into work tomorrow (and if I remember), I'll look up the specs for the Venus. IMHO, the venus is the Chocolate, but with a touch-screen area in lieu of the wheel.

My '05 TL can't access my VZW RAZR's phonebook anyway (an '06 BMW I tried can); I'm guessing the newer TLs have this feature/profile?

I recently upgraded to the LG Venus (VX8800) a few days ago. However, I can't seem to get it to pair with the HFL on my '04 TL. The phone findes the HFL device but the pairing is unsuccessful. The HFl says something to the effect of "Can't pair from the phone". Anyone have the Venus and get it working?

05 TL- Not paring with LG 1000 aka Voyager

I have had the same results try to pare HFL to the Voyager. The BT is in discovery mode and the HFL cant find the phone. The phone however can find the HFL but this type of paring isnt allowed.

Anybody have any ideas?

Ok. Nevermind, I figured it out. I was putting my phone into "discovery mode" when I should have been searching. Yup, I'm an idiot.

I can confirm the Voyager works on the TL. Unfortunately, only battery level & signal are displayed. :-(

I got the LG Venus to pair with my 04 TL. Just make sure you have "Auto Pair" turned off.
