I did this mod today as well and it was really straightforward and simple. Thanks a ton to the OP for making this thread!

 

The OP's instruction is very helpful. My V1 is up and running within one hour. I used the same fuse as the OP. But I am experince a problem now. When I lock my doors with remote, the feedback "beep" and flashing light are gone. The doors still locks fine.

I checked my remote setting and it still set to beep when I press lock button twice on my remote.

 

Problem resolved. I must released the hood while trying to remove the fuse box cover. After closing the hood properly, the lock feedback works fine.

 

any DIY on the concealed display ?
