USA Spec PA15-HON3 not being recognized...

Is there something more to just PnP for this device? I removed the working PAC unit for this one, and BOOM, nada

Something with the dip switch settings? This SHOULD just be PnP, right?

What mode do you want your idevice to be in?

For your Aux input to be usable, set Dip #1 to ON.
For Folder Mode (XM Only), set Dip #2 OFF, Dip #3 ON, Dip 4 OFF.
For Playlist Mode (XM Only), set Dip #2 OFF, Dip #3 ON, Dip 4 ON.
For Direct Mode, set Dip #2 ON, Dip #3 ON, Dip 4 ON.

How do you have your set up?

Figured it out, had to GTFB the matter and discover, lo and behold, this device works through the XM1 channel, not CDC as I have been accustomed to.

I installed my USA-Spec non-Nav unit in my 2008 TL this weekend and am loving it! It is so nice having my iPod accessible, I tried the headphone jack in the console and that lasted all of 1 minute due to the crappy quality.

I have one small thing I would like to change if possible though. How do the different switches effect the controls?

I am pretty sure we put it in direct mode. I can change tracks using the tuning dial, but only have like 6 songs available if I use the steering wheel to skip tracks. Can this be changed by switching the dip switches?

So, you were able to get yours to work? I cannot get mine to be recognized by my radio. I press the XM button and get nothing. Does charge the iphone though. Weird.

Just had to play around with some DIP switch settings, I now receive on XM1. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT unit. Check your settings, my friend.

No workie

Tried all the various DIP switch configurations, ohmed out the harness, and double-checked the plugs and it still does not work. I think module itself is NG. Working with tech support to resolve the issue, but I bet I will have to return it back to the folks I bought this from (Off Amazon.com). We shall see...

The XM button is completely non-op and when I plug in to my iPhone(4S), all is see is "Accessory detected". No good....
