Uploading phonebook - Any alternatives?

I am new here, just got an 07 type S to park next to my Corvette (although the Vette has been parked since I got it )

I have a Blackberry Pearl, and while it works great with the bluetooth, it will not upload my phonebook (I have hundreds of Outlook contacts I would like to have on there).

Is there an alternative way other than doing them manualy or getting another phone?

No, the TL doesn't support exporting phonebooks. If you wanted to do that you should have gotten the RL.

Actually the 2007 does import phonebooks but many phones are not supported (as yet).
See www.Acura.com mini site on the bluetooth features.

I can't find on the mini site what phones do the phonebook upload. If one is cheap enough and synchs with outlook, I would buy it and use if only for that.

Hmmmm my wife could use a new phone now that I think about it

I saw that a couple of the Sony phones have the PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile) so they are certified to work. Too bad none of the carriers in Canada carry that phone or I would have tried it by now.

Click on "Find a Phone" in the Handsfreelink mini site. It let's you choose your carrier and lists phones which do this.

It was a pain in the ass to find. Acura needs someone who knows how to design a better site.
