I'm looking to upgrade the sound in a 2007 TL. I plan to install A/D/S components and Zapco amps from a previous install. I also have a 12" A/D/S sub. I need opinions on the subs: seal an 8" sub into the stock location or a 12" box in the trunk? I like the idea of no box in the trunk, but also dread the custom work of trying to seal a sub into the stock location. Upon searching I've seen that people have done both with some success. I'd like opinions on each approach. Fire away!

 

my 05 tl sub rattles like all hell. i need to upgrade also lookin for information
