My 3sixty.2 was doing the same thing. It would stay on when the car was off. I took out all my remote/ground/power and made the exposed wire shorter (just so it fits). Make sure it's really snug in that and won't move. After all my troubleshooting, my problem was that little piece on the 3sixty.2 that holds the remote/ground/power was a tad loose. I opened the unit up, made a few mods so it'd fit tight and wallah! See if you can jiggle any or all of the remote/ground/power around near where they go into the MS8 and see if it shuts off or comes on.

i didnt use the wire by itself, i crimped small ring terminals onto them and then removed the screws for the grnd,12v,and rem in and put them back in through the ring so it would be tight

does our fuse box have any open fuse ports that will turn off with the car? I just picked up some fuse taps and was thinking of going that route
