I just thought I pass along some of these websites where you can download free DTS clips/audio for you listening pleasure in the TL ELS surround system.

I tried the Swedish downloads. They master just fine but the DTS popping and clicking issue in the TL was so bad I couldn't listen for more than a minute without ejecting the disk. Bummer

 

Adobeman..............whats the cause of the poping and clicking? speakers are not up to par?

Are you getting the popping sound from all the swedish radio clips? I think I only got some popping on one of the clip from that site.

 

I get the same popping and clicking on a Sting DTS DVD-A I bought. It's not the speakers, it's the DVD player doing it, it's not fully DVD-A DTS Compatible. It's so bad it sounds like it will blow out a speaker, even with the volume on low.

I have a high end DVD / SACD player at home (the Denon DVD-2910) which plays every format of DVD imaginable, and plays this same Sting DTS DVD just fine. Leads me to believe it's the TL headunit that just can't read certain kinds of DVDs even though it says it does, all DTS DVD-As are not created equal!!

Of course, you're wondering (like I am)...how do I possibly know then when I buy one which ones will actually work in my TL? ....hm.......very good question.....
