Hello all,

I have a problem with my iSimple gateway device and hopefully some of you can chime in and help. I had it installed 2 years ago but never got the SAT function to work. This weekend I decided to tear things apart to look into it. The connections are correct. Black connector goes into the gateway and the Y adapter goes into XM input of the radio and the XM connector. When i toggle the XM button, I only get XM1 (iPod) and XM2 (AUX). I don't get the SAT function. I called isimple technical support line and they emailed me a documentation to swap 2 wires on the harness and that should fix it. Well it didn't so I emailed them back. I'm still waiting to hear back from technical support. I tried disconnecting the gateway device for 5 min but nothing has changed. i planned on subscribing to SAT radio so it would be nice to get both ipod and SAT to work. Any advice would help. Thanks.

 

Have you updated the iSimple Gateway to the latest software version?

 

Finally got it to work. If anyone else run into this in the future, this is what you have to do to reset the module.

ive had it for three weeks now, its great but somehow stopped charging my iphone. now says this accessory is not supported out of nowhere. ill try a firmware update then a reset.
