Does anyone know if there is a code that unlocks the 3sixty.1 and turns it into the .2 ?? I am asking because there are rumers going around. If theres a code, I wanna know what it is!!!

I heard rumors too. The Rockford engineers are denying it. The offical claim is some of the preproduction models had the ability to change from the .1 to the .2 for testing purposes.

I haven't heard anything about this... it would be cool though... like the kid that cracked the Iphone...

FYI: I've been running my 3sixty.2 for over a year... no problem etc... I thought I did a pretty good job at tunning my own system... well, until I got a professional installer and Rockford dealer to sit in my car for 15 minute... after he was done... it felt like I got a whole new system... to all the professionals out there...

 

It's definitely true. I'm quite sure all .1s have the .2s firmware which is simply locked with a code. Rockford does deny it, but it's in there. It would be a lot cheaper for them to do it that way. I have the .1 and it made a huge difference to my sound system, but it would be cool to see what a .2 could do.

 

the .2 has much more features that make a huge difference... like crossover capabilities for individual speakers FR,FL,RR,RL,C,S.... Crazy... Save multible files of EQ settings... for different types of music... etc...

no... sorry man... only via bluetooth...

 

No cables needed. You can access it via bluetooth PDAs. You can do all adjustments right from you carseat. Pretty freakin amazing little thing.

I'm sure that theres some way to hack into it. I'm sure that there is a code or something that just needs to be looped or jumped.

 

They are exaclly the same. Both same size and weight. If only someone could look inside of both of them so that they could compare them. Are there any valunteers???
