Replace Head Unit and Loose What?

Just out of curiousity, for any of you that have replaced the factory head unit in a TL with Navi (mines a 2008), what all factory functions do you loose? This is the first vehicle I have had that I planned on not replacing the head unit but.....

I am just curious what all has to be sacrificed to just do a simple head unit swap to a nice double din unit (Alpine IVA-W505 for instance).

you will loose:
HFL
Voice Command
Navigation Voice
ANC
You will also upset the car's F-CAN and B-CAN systems and it will throw errors on the navi if you try to use it.

your best bet if you want good audio is to do this:
Factory HU -> Factory AMP -> Audio processor -> amps -> upgraded speakers.

I could probably live with everything except causing navi problems. Getting better audio is not my main goal. Ease of video use and iPod support are my big things. If I could find an iPod adapter that showed text on the factory screen and would work with the HON-SC1, I would be all set. The Peripheral unit did not work. The USA Spec does not show text and I think I remember getting an email from Dice saying their unit would not work with the HON-SC1.
