Removing C-Panel

Now that I've got the seats out, im trying to remove the C-Panel. I cannot remove the square peg....i know it's because i'm scared to rip the cloth surround the knob and the cloth on the panel.

I've tried using a screw driver and a butter knife wrapped in a towel to remove the peg. Is there some sort of tool I can use to get this off w/o damaging anything.

thanks so much for the help.....

You mean the SRS warning Peg?

If so, you don't have to get it ALL the way out. Just far enough that it's no longer attached underneath.

madermu. I know you searched, and I know you started that thread. that's why there is thumbs up. sorry if I offended you with my stupid humor.

now back on removing the C-Panel. if you want to be extra carefull get a plastic removal tool like one of these http://www.nextag.com/trim-removal-tool/shop-html
and it will not cause any damage. I use it all the time and never had any problems.
