RCA adapter for subwoofer?

I want to put an aftermarket subwoofer in my 04 TL. Is there a line level adapter or something that connects off the stock stereo or amp that will give me RCA outputs for the sub?

Just disconnect the sub in the truck and LOC the speaker line in there. Super simple. Make sure you get a good LOC. Cheap ones act as a highpass filter.

Are you adding speakers or anything?? If that's the case, might as well get an Audiocontrol unit like the Matrix or a processor for cheap. Especially if your taking pre-amp signal

Do you guys know where the stock subwoofer amplifier is located? I really don't like the idea of using a LOC. If I can locate the stock amplifier I could probably just tap into the low level input.

It's in the passenger kick panel. You'll have to take out the glove box and the panel above the passengers knees. It's pretty easy...just search for the thread on it for all the info.

Passenger kick panel. Very easy to get to. No need to take the glove box off though. I didn't/don't. Wonder how much space it gives though. Hm

You don't HAVE to remove the glove box but it gives so much more space to work it's silly not to. It takes 3 min to do...2 screws 2 pins and a some tugging.
