Just a little F.Y.I. for anybody interested in installing a detector. I have to say it is one of the easiest things to do. I wired a passport 8500 x50 and the zr3 laser shifter. The hardest part was wiring the shifter sensors. As far as the detecter goes. Mount it on the glass and run the wire up by the rear view mirror. I then wiretied the wire to the mirror. cant see the wire tie. Then I just put the wire under the head liner. There is a gap there so it slides right in no need to push hard. The only part of the car needed to be taken apart a little bit is the left front a Piller cover. Use a clean flat head screw driver and then pull out the air bag clip. There is one more friction clip about 5 inches from the airbag disclaimer. once thats off you can feed your wire down the A piller. Down the front left portion of the dash down to the fuse pannel. I used an add a fuse and wired it to the ign opt 2 fuse. Clean install takes about 25 minutes to do. Ill try to post some pics.
