SD.TL1904

So i purchased a Navi drive since my original one fried awhile back and the splash screen loads honda instead of acura. I found this thread but it doesn't seem to work for me. I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong but I am following the directions https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/clock-not-sync-gps-697962/. I am having the same issue as stated on that thread. It seems that if I can get it to load the acura version instead of the honda I can get my dash clock to sync with my gps. I feel that i don't necessarily need to go thru the process of creating new cds because I do have my original navigation cd that came with the car which is the orange cd. I've tried wiping the memory by unplugging the battery.. and also tried updating the software via diagnostic mode. any suggestions?
