I recognize there's a lot of components to convert a non-nav to a nav. I am not trying to waste too much money but I'm wondering - what if I didn't care about the navigation part of it and I just wanted the touch screen to operate the radio so it doesnt look plain like the old basic radio please help me out

Maybe, you can hook up the screen to just the radio. I'm not sure.

 

cause i bought the original navigation screen already i just need more info if what im planning to do will work or not ... yea i really dont want the gps cus u said its even more work cus of the wiring and more $$

 

since you have the screen, see if you can plug it into the back of the radio

same thing here I want to put my TL no nav in a nav one.

 

I installed it looks great but the screen is blank idk what to do and the radio isn't working either I'm probably just going to install the old one....
