Problem with my AMP?
Problem with my AMP?
Had my system for over a year, and all of a sudden my AMP does not want to turn on...
Any one have ideas?
I do not believe the fuses are blown.
I also do not think the AMP is blown either.
Before I went to an audio shop, I just wanted your guys input on what could be the problem.
SPEC:
Mono Kenwood AMP 300 watts RMS
Single 12" Boston Acoustic 300 watts RMS Dual Voice Coil

Have you physically checked the fuses? and or the amp turning on and off?
you said you don't think which makes me believe you didn't check
You also need more details (for example; were you listening to music, or one day turn on the car and no sound???) for us to determine a solution... or just take it to the audio shop like you suggested.
all in all electronics die, you might have a blown amp.

Yeah, didn't visually check.
So, what happened was, I was playing the radio, and you know... I didn't really like the music that was playing so I decided to play my CD, next thing you know, I noticed there was not a single bass coming out. That's basically it.
I made it to my destination, opened my trunk, and noticed that the AMP was not turning on.
