problem answering bluetooth phone

I hope this is the right forum for this question and that it has not been beat to death elsewhere.
Frequently when "answering" a call by pressing the call button, it will cause my SE T-608 to answer the call, but not in the handsfree system. I finally discovered, after thinking that nothing had happened, that the phone had answered the call, by hearing someone calling out from the phone while it was in the holster. I have been able to "transfer" to the car handsfree system, but find this to be happening too often. Is it something that others are experiencing? Should I delete the phone and then re-install?
Thanks to anyone who has had this happen and who might be able to help.

I've had the same thing happen while using my T608 as well. In fact, it happened about 50% of the time or more. Very annoying!

Turns out that this is a common problem with the T608. A few others in this forum have complained about it in the past. The only "fix" seems to be to have the phone connected to the car charger when taking the call. Others said that this solved the issue for them, but I never tried it.

I moved to the SMT 5600 after many months of using the T608 because of this problem.

I am having the SAME problem with the Motorola V600. It seems to be a software problem that needs to be upgraded...

JMAn Seach this forum for solutions on the V600. I had the same issues with my V600 and the HFL and updating the software with a newer version helped solve the issue.

I too moved to the Audiovox SMT 5600 and am very happy and a very cool phone. Do you know if there is any way to get the signal strength and battery life to show up? Not a big deal because the BT works flawlessly.

Sprint is just too slow to adapt. They have good service and data plans but not very good with BT. I may be back in a year or so when they get up to speed.

I too don't get the signal strength or battery level on the MID for the SMT 5600. I don't think it's possible unless there's a firmware update in the future.
BTW, the clarity with the SMT 5600 is great. Many people have commented that I sound clearer than I used to with the SE T608.
