Post Pics Of Your Trunks (Systems)
This is my system as of now. It's all taken out
. I'm selling the car soon (possibly today) so I removed all my audio and MLV/CCF on the doors. Can't really remove the CLD Tiles all over, which is a bummer but what can ya do. Looking into the '13 Accord. Went to drive the Sport & EX-L with the v6 today...not too bad at all really!
Anyways, stuff is for sale now (shoot me a PM). False floor, MLV/CCF ready to go on door (one heck of a convenience if you've done this!), all weather floor mats, etc. Sad day, but this car hasn't been too nice to me

It was $230 shipped, and it sounds really good. Alot cheaper then those wickedcas.com for $350 and up and and I got more air space for my sub
He has done my last 2 Acura before I moved to Florida. Everything else is stock besides a JL 500/1v1 powering the 12w6, yeah the box came out great and better then I thought. I figured it was going to come with the regular cheap grey box carpet like the wickedcas.com boxes do but actually came with a high grade carpet that just about spot on to the original, and i lost almost no trunk space. I want to upgrade my inside speakers next

That looks real good! I'll probably go with something like this for my next car and a small 5-channel. Nothing too extensive or large again.
How much airspace did he make you for that 12w6? Does he have a website or what?

No issues. That car bumps. There is a box covering the navigation system, so nothing hits it. I did it this way to still keep my spare tire. The amp I under the trunk liner. It was a pain to remove everything to install a usa spec and put everything back in.
I messed up on the fiberglass at first so when i went to grind them down a bit I forgot to wear a long sleeve shirt and was itchy for hours.
Last weekend (10/19-20) was the 2013 Unified World Finals. I normally compete in MECA SQ but since IASCA was there I entered to show support.
Results: MECA Modex class: 1st in SQ (an RL was second-Go Acura!) and Install. RTA-Open class, 2nd after 5 tie breakers. Runner up for MECA SQL Best of Show to a MFG car.
IASCA: First in the largest SQ class, Pro/Ama by a fairly large margin. Also placed well in install, RTA/SPL and was Crowned the 2013 Iasca INAC 'Triple Crown' Champion. i.e. the best overall car at Finals, single seat.

Congrats Kirk! I almost posted a link to the DIYMA thread last week. I probably would have given up on getting great sound out of my TL and transferred the equipment to the other car but your wins keep showing its possible. I have got to hear this thing the next time I go back home. This is a big deal for those that aren't into SQ.
Are you running the same setup as you had in your build log?

Now that's impressive.

I was thinking.. even if he still has the pass through, only one will fit.
A professional took pics at the show. He put them on his Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater
I do have to give a shout out to AudioX in Florence, Alabama (Steve Cook) for the dash work and the DBX cover.

Picked up an uncald4 enclosure and Punch 500-2 back in late Nov/Dec time frame.
Finally got around to installing it a few weeks back. While I wanted to reserve trunk space, I don't really care for the ski pass so it's not an issue for me that it's now unusable.
Apologies for the dirty ride. Been a rough winter in the Northeast.

This forum has been amazing at providing so much useful information. Search was my best friend by far (see grommet in firewall, ACC fuse location, and how to mount the enclosure).
Back in the day (mid 90's), I used to run PPI Art Series amps, so going through this install brought back some good memories from my childhood.
Rich20730. Nice build. I checked out your build thread as well. Lots of effort here that seems to have really paid off. Will you compete?
It looks like you have the handling of a router down as your trim plate looks exceptional.
Can you estimate the cost on everything you have installed if you were to buy it all new?
