The program will NOT make DVDA disks, only DVDV.

you should use Cirlinca DVD Audio Solo to make DVDA disks or Adobeman's free script.

Do a search to find it

Did you already apply the latest patches for the program? Are you using Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4 Disc Creator? What brand of DVD-R are you using?

Correction. Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4.0 Disc Creator comes with Ulead Burn. Now which WILL create DVD-Audio disks.

To clarify, there are two versions of Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4.0: the standard version and the more deluxe "Disc Creator" version.

Here is a link that compares the two.
http://www.ulead.com/dmf/compare.htm

Also, after browsing Ulead's website, I think the standard version is the only one available for trial download. From Ulead's System Support Center, updates will not work on the trial version (http://www.ulead.com/tech/dmf/dmf.htm).

I didn't go through the trial download, so I can't help you there. If you think its too much of a hassle, maybe you are better off trying one of the other mentioned alternatives. Personally, I've found Disc Creator to be very easy and straight forward. Adobeman recently updated his scripts to make it more straight forward. Not sure what the current status on it is, but you can find out with a search.

On the contrary to the manual, DVD-R seem to work better than DVD+R.

Hope that clears things up!
