need to find speed sensor for nav plz help

i try to hook up a Nav on my 97 2.2 cl but i couldn't find where the speed sensor is, any one have any ideal where i can find it??? and if i find it how would i know if that wire is correct?? plz help!!!!

Unfortunately, there is no sure test if it's the right wire, other than an oscilloscope on the wire while driving around (and the ability to use it and to do the math...) You can put a voltmeter set to AC on the wire and see if the AC varies with vehicle speed, but that's not 100%. At least that would make sure you don't hurt anything.

I will ping someone I know and see if I get an aswer tomorrow (Monday). I have no leads until then... but maybe someone has the Helm manual?

If the 97 2.2's resemble the 03 3.2s (just tryna help), its a blue/white wire coming out of the cruise control unit...

In the 03s its right above the pedal in the dash.

orange or blu/wht @ PCM

The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is under the passenger dash, under the floor board.
