Hi All,

My question may be one of the simpler ones here. I am picking up an 06 TL, with no XM or Nav (neither available in Hawaii).

Whats the easiest way to add a line in jack for my MP3 player? Can I get a harness that uses the XM in?

can you buy an Acura with nav in Hawaii? Do they still have the XM button?

 

u may buy it with the navi capability tho it probably is not setup for hawaii yet. i did not know u could purchees a tl w/out xm. from what i was told was that all the tls come with xm. for hawaii users since xm radio is not setup yet when it is installed and ready we get 3 yrs (or 2) free i believe.

 

to be clear, the XM receiver is there (I believe) - service is not available though, so if I had to disconnect it, it will be fine. Also, there is no nav DVD for the TL that works in Hawaii. I think only the RL works. The service guy here told me a story about a MDX that was brought in with Nav whose clock is set to California time because it can't find the appropriate GPS sat!

looks like the blitz is the shortest path. When I checked their website, they don't show the V2 so I didn't know there was one available for the 06. Their application chart ends at 04 I think.
