Plug and play replacement amplifier SO EASY
Plug and play replacement amplifier SO EASY
Hey guys - I just acquired my first TL and I love it. What a great car. Since it’s 17 years old it’s bound to have some maintenance items that need attention though. One of the first things I did was replace the factory amp that went bad. I picked up a plug and play kit from mobile max car audio and it took about 15 minutes to swap it out. Now it sounds better than new. If you guys are looking for a cost effective solution to replacing your factory amp when they go out, check this out.
Hope this helps someone!
thanks

I will second this...replaced failed amps in 2 TL's with their plug n play options. Fast, sounded great. Also replaced the factory head unit with one of their touch screen multimedia options, TL plug n play kit, back up camera, thus bringing the TL to modern auto media and navigation (Android Auto/Carplay) capabilities.

I actually have one from Phantom Audio that is amazing as he fixes up the OEM amp to be strong and sound great...
this is a little less plug and play but definitely awesome to see these viable options, it used to SUCK to try and get clean signal for aftermarket anything 10 years ago...
so crazy how much support the 3G still has

It's wild...
I found my old amp and decided to just see how different it was in comparison to one Jesse made me like 6 years ago...
at level 40 you can almost not hear the music at all. With his it's clear and crisp at like 20...he's working on one of his
newest ones for me now and I'm supposed to do a comparison for him. I'm getting older so sometimes for me, less is more...
his upgrade and then maybe just a little 10 or 12...perfection.
