factory amp speaker level output

Hello everyone, I am looking for some help finding either a plug or wire diagram for the speaker level output on the factory amp for a 2006 tsx with nav. The plug I would want is the plug going into the amp output side so I can leave all factory wires as is as I plan to run all new speaker wires. I am using this to run a line output converter.

Any help would be great.

Can you clarify what you want to do? are you installing a new amp? if you are, you will need RCA inputs from the stock HU to the new amp. You will also need a wiring harness that connects to your speakers.

Here is the harness you need:
Amazon.com: Metra 70-1727 Factory Amplifier Bypass Harness for 2006 Honda Civic Vehicles: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Metra 70-1727 Factory Amplifier Bypass Harness for 2006 Honda Civic Vehicles: Car Electronics

PM me if you need a RCA output harness. this will depend on your amp you're installing.

Thanks mrj, Yes I can clarify. I intend to use the speaker lever output of the factory amp, and connect that signal into an LC8I. I will be using the pre amp out of the LC8I to run an aftermarket amp.

I don't think the metra 70-1727 bypass harness is what I want but I could be wrong. It want to keep the factory amp in place as all factory functions must work in my vehicle and it looks like this harness is used to remove the factory amp.

Ok so to be very specific this is how i am planning to hook up my system

factory nav/headunit-->---factory amp--->---audio control lc8i---->---aftermarket amp---->----speakers

I am being told this is bad and that i can cut out the factory amp and lc8i with a custom made harness that will give me quality pre amp outs on the factory navi/headunit.

anyone else have any more info on this harness or want to chime in?

I'm not entirely sure what 'functions' the factory amp is required for, the cleanest signal would come from going from Factory HU -> Aftermarket amp -> Speakers. I see no reason to amplify then return the signal to line level just to amplify it again.

Hey Guys, this is what i did. My sketch:

Factory HU ---> Factory AMP ---> Rear Speakers ----> Kenwood KAC9104D ---> Subwoofer

I was able to connect my factory amp to my aftermarket amp because the kenwood amp had a SPL input. I used the rear 6X9s as input to the sub.

I must say that the sub isn't pounding that hard. I am thinking of either changing my headunit or bypassing the factory amp.

Can anyone help me out on this?
Here's my current set up:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/9555382...n/photostream/

For some reason it isn't pounding hard. I have factory HU, Factory AMP for doors and Kenwood KAC9104D for my sub. My sub is Alpine Type R SWR-12D4. Its 1000w RMS at 2 ohm and my amp is 900W RMS at 2 ohm.
What is causing the sub to feel weak?
