OK Guys here it is..

I want to redo everything in my car including where OEM NAVI radio is located. I want to go with either car computer, with 8" Touch screen or maybe 10" or I might go with Windows Tablet all together.

My car came with the Navi system, I just purchased from 2005 non navi disply with left and right heat controls (Passenger and Driver Side Controls)

My main question is, since i have only the display which is this:

Will the connection work from NAVI to This non NAVI electronic board? my main thing is the heat and cooling controls to work....

I definitely don't want to damage my NAVI system, I will put that away in safe place in-case i need to bring the dash back to stock.

 

Please help me out guys,

Worst case I will have to take the Navi apart and see if all the cables are the same and test everything make sure the non navi works with heat controls, but i honestly don't see why it wouldn't.

Sounds like what you really want is to retrofit a tablet PC in your dashboard. The easiest way to retain the HVAC functionality is to leave your current nav stuff there, and just replace the screen with a tablet PC.

Thank You for the links, I have looked at them before as well, I try to do as much of my own research before reaching out to anyone.

I so don't want to use my NAvi system, that's why i bought the other stuff so i could re-use it in my build. I will have to pull my dash apart and try it myself self to see how its going to work. worse case, it wont work ! and I will have no choice but to build it around the stock Navi.
