Pie work with NAVtraffic???

Ok guys so here's my situation. I have an 08 TL-S and was wondering if the pie would work with the Nav traffic connection, since you plug the pie x3 into the xm portion of the Nav. I know with the isimple it does not work for this so I was thinking it would be the same thing for the pie x3 and would not work on my car because of the nav traffic. Does anyone know if it will work or have a pie x3 installed with nav traffic??

ah man, I'm in the same situation... I guess i can temporarily use an RCA to 3.5mm in the AUX jack in the center armrest of the car for now, but that's a jacked up setup. And for some reason, currently when i plug my ipod in there, i gotta crank it up big time when i listen from the AUX input.

oh, you have that buzzing with the PIE device? or with the RCA to the AUX acura jack in the center armrest?

to see if it's alternator, put it in Park or Neutral and slowly revv the engine, if it buzzes then too, it's alternator.

ah ok, so you contacted PIE about the NavTraffic, not the alternator buzzing sound.

I'm kinda bummed to hear that you get alternator buzzing with the RCA to AUX. Did you try to buy a ground loop insulator?
